SUMMARY:

Are you interested in developing solutions that will deliver safe, efficient, productive and more comfortable transportation experiences?
As a member of the Civil Engineering team in Metro's Design and Construction Section, this position performs proficient level engineering for both major and smaller Transit facility capital projects, including the preparation of engineering designs, specifications and design reports, providing assistance to project managers with the establishment of project budgets and schedules, and the performance of quality control reviews of consultant designs. This position also provides planning level support to Transit Planners in development of integrated multi-modal transportation facilities. Work Schedule
Our regular business work schedule is 40 hours per week; Monday through Friday though work outside of the normal work day may be required. This position is considered exempt from the Fair Labor Standards Act and as such is not eligible for overtime pay. Flexible hours may be considered.
