Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) is looking for a Water Resources Engineer to add to the Water Resources Practice in our Cincinnati, OH office. CEC’s corporate Water Resources Practice accounts for more than 10% of our annual revenues, making it an essential part of the integrated services that we offer to our clients. CEC’s Water Resources Practice distinguishes itself from the service offerings of other firms because of the breadth and depth of our technical expertise including but not limited to; Watershed Management and Restoration, Stormwater Management and Compliance, Water/Wastewater Treatment, Collection, and Distribution Infrastructure. 

Here's What You'll Do: 

As a Water Resources Engineer for CEC in Cincinnati, you will perform hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, dam safety assessment, design, compliance, and rehabilitation, water resource utility infrastructure and stormwater facilities design, stream restoration design, and conduct floodplain and drainage studies. You will perform H&H modeling, engineering calculations and produce engineering drawings on a variety of water resources related projects. You will interact with clients, contractors, and local government officials. You will impact the whole project from conceptual and design phases through the regulatory review process, bidding, and construction. 

Here's What You'll Need: 

• B.S. Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering;
• 3-7+ years of experience with water resources projects in one or more of the following areas: hydrology and hydraulics, stormwater management and compliance, dam safety engineering; 
• Demonstrated experience with HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, HydroCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D; 
• Experience producing engineering drawings;

  • Writing skills and preparation of technical reports; and,
    • Experience with Unsteady Flow and 2D Hydraulic Modeling preferred, but not required.
